AboutMargaryta Winkler is an award-winning visual artist from Ukraine currently based in Vancouver, Canada. Her work spans illustration, book cover design, and animation. In 2023 she received a Fulbright grant to pursue a master’s degree in the US and in 2025 she graduated from Rhode Island School of Design with an MFA in Illustration.

Margaryta’s author-illustrator debut Homebound, a wordless picture book about war in Ukraine, is set for publication in late 2025 from Orecchio Acerbo (Italy).
